Kumbuk Leaves (10 Leaves)
Dried Kumbuk Leaves (Terminalia arjuna). A natural botanical commonly used in aquariums, terrariums, and paludariums for both decorative and functional purposes. In aquariums, Kumbuk leaves gradually release tannins and natural compounds that help create a more natural environment for fish, shrimps, and blackwater species. In terrariums and paludariums, they provide a long-lasting leaf-litter layer that helps retain moisture while offering shelter and grazing surfaces for microfauna and small inhabitants.
Note: Naturally releases moderate tannins that slightly tint the water. Replace as needed for continuous conditioning.
Features:
- Promotes vitality and natural well-being of aquarium animals
- Releases humic acids with antibacterial and antifungal properties
- Provides cover and enrichment for shrimp and small fish
- Suitable for terrariums and paludariums
- Ideal for frogs, crabs, and insect enclosures
Usage:
Rinse or lightly blanch before use. In aquariums, add one or more leaves directly; they will sink within 24–48 hours and gradually decompose over 2–3 weeks. In terrariums, scatter as part of the leaf-litter layer to enhance humidity and offer hiding spots.
