BETTA Red Halfmoon

The Betta fish, also known as the fighter or siamese fighting fish, is one of the most popular choices in the aquarium hobby and a favorite option for planted nano aquariums due to their ability to adapt well in smaller volumes. Warmer temperatures (24.5 to 26.5 degree Celcius) and clean water conditions are required to keep this fish happy and in good health. Bettas are highly territorial, males should not be housed with others of the same kind. A varied diet should be fed sparingly, high quality special diets are available in our dry food and frozen food pages. Recommended tank mates include snails, bottom feeders, and schooling fish in aquariums that provide enough space and shelter.
